  The launch event of the latest anthology titled 'AFAJATO: Stories from Around the Volta Lake,' held on Thursday, 28th March 2024, at the B&PD Centre, African University College of Communications (AUCC) in Adabraka, Accra, by The Ama Atta Aidoo Centre For Creative Writing (AAACCW). The anthology, curated by Nana Sandy Achampong, director of the AAACCW, features short stories from 15 authors, predominantly beginners, exploring narratives from the Volta region of Ghana, including Alberta Morty, Akorfa Dawson, Ursula M. Abanga, Aisha Nelson, Ruth Aryeh, Patience Millennium Hlorlewu, Benjamin Cyril Arthur, Ellen Diamond, Deborah Titus-Glover, Kristy Naa Adjeley Lomo, Serwa Gyedu-Nuako, Kwesi Woode, Jim Fara Awindor, Abaa Moses Apiah, and Kofi Dzogbewu, who are now part of the prestigious AAACCW.
